The Research Communications Studio (RCS) is a new concept for training undergraduate engineers in the methods and communication of research.

With funding from the National Science Foundation, the departments of Chemical, Computer, Mechanical, and Electrical Engineering have established the Studio for mentoring and peer-based learning of research methods, with a strong emphasis on written and oral communications.

Undergraduate engineers engaged in independent research courses are encouraged to contribute to the efforts of the RCS and their own development as professional researchers.
